Bernardine Crenshaw Silvey, of Lakewood Colorado, passed away, after an extended illness at age 76, on Friday, October 7, 2016, at the Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1940.

She was raised in Tucson, graduated from the University of Arizona in 1962, met and married her husband, H.L. Silvey that same year, and moved with her family to Lakewood Colorado in 1974. She was a loving wife, a world-class mom and a friend to all. She was an accomplished musician, both with the piano and violin, and a former member of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. She was also an employee for a period of time with the City of Lakewood Police Department, Records Division.

Bernardine is survived by her husband of 54 years, H.L. (Lee) Silvey (Lakewood, Colorado) and her daughter, Heidi B. Silvey-Garner (Chesapeake, Virginia). She will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.

All States Mortuary & Crematory is coordinating a memorial service, which is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19th at Staging Area “A”, in Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, Colorado).

The family asks that in-lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bernardine’s name to the Lutheran Hospice/Collier Hospice Center at the Lutheran Medical Foundation, 8300 W. 38th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033
