Gale V. Swope

Gale V. Swope died peacefully at home on June 15, 2012. Gale was married to Joanne on January 29th, 1953 in Aurora, Colorado. He joined the Air Force in 1953 and served until 1973. He worked for Steiner Corp until he retired. He was very loved by all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered as a very kind and loving man by all who knew him. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, & 2 sisters. Private services will be held.

    Gale, I miss your smile,the silly jokes you always told me but most of all I miss you. There are times I go to tell you about somethiIg I have been doing and you are not here to share it with. I cry a little but I know you are free from pain and can breath normal again I thank the Lord for that. I miss you my darling, I will see you again some day. Joanne

    Two men were instrumental in my life and they taught me how to be first a husband and secondly, how to be a father. Those men were my father Don and my brother-in-law Gale. Gale was more of a big brother to me, always willing to help and I will miss him, but know that I will see them again in Heaven.
