James Arthur Stidger

James passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Nordy, 3 children Paul Stidger, Bobbi Flangan and Jamie Harrelson, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son James Stidger .

James was born as an only child to Jim and Eloise (Doodle) Stidger July 8,1939 in Bay Minetta, Alabama. He was proud to serve his country with the United States Army and the Marines Corps.

He had two young boys Paul and James Stidger when he met his wife Edith (Nordy) Hall. He married Nordy in May of 1971 and he became the father of her daughter Bobbi Baehr. In 1972 they had daughter Jamie Lynn and shortly after moved to Colorado.

James worked as a dock loader for IML Freight and settled the family in Northglenn Colorado. He later became a truck driver for Yellow Freight and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 17. He was an avid reader and loved the world of Boxing. Most of all, James was a wonderful husband and father and loving provider for his family.

    We are so sadden to hear of the passing of our dear friend. I Robert enjoyed working with him at IML. He was a very happy go lucky guy, never a day went by that we didn’t have some good laughs together . Peace be with you and your family. May he rest in peace.
