James “Jim” T. Siedelmann

James “Jim” T. Siedelmann, passed away peacefully in the loving company of his family at The Denver Hospice the morning of February 24 of 2016 at the age of 76. Jim was born in Omaha on March 10 to Frances and Theodore Siedelmann.
An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force he married Janet Lynn Larkin in 1976.
He is survived by his wife J. Lynn Siedelmann. His sisters Carol Ivester of Omaha and Marge Fischer of Gainesville, GA. His brother Don Siedelmann of Omaha. His four children Mary Schneider, Michael Siedelmann, Andy Pfeiffer, and JoLynn Pfeiffer. His grandchildren Weston Gould, Katrina Pfeiffer, Morgan and Marleau Siedelmann. Great- grand children Isaiah and Sophia Gould. And multiple nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister Patricia Donahue Zimmerman and Bernard Donahue.
A longtime lover of the Western Railroad and an active member of the Denver Garden Railroad. Jim was also an avid fisherman and a well experienced mechanic; he leaves us with many memories and the many lives he touched in his own life.

    Jim was a great guy, and was partially responsible for getting me more involved in our train club. I will miss him.

    You will be missed. Our best memory, not only has to do with trains, but your generosity when Kirk and I first became part of the Hospitality Group of DRGS. You donated the soda from your vending business. Your knowledge cannot be replaced, but know you are missed.
