Jerome (Jerry) Henry Kimminau was born July 20, 1925, in Zenda, Kansas. Beginning at five-years-old, Jerry worked on his family farms. As the oldest son of nine children, he developed a great work ethic and graduated from Kingman High School in May of 1943. Shortly after Jerry turned 18, he was drafted into the military. During his Air Force tenure, he passed aviation training, served as flight officer/chief on several aircraft, and flew over 60 missions during the Korean War and WWII. He retired from the Air Force in October of 1965 and went to work for United Airlines. Jerry and his wife, Dolores (Dee) moved to Louisiana in 1975 and resided there until 2011 when they moved to Colorado. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Dee, and their daughters, Barbara and Deborah. He is survived by their son, Michael, who is married to Michele and his two granddaughters, Morgan and Macy. He is greatly missed, but we know he is with God and reunited with Dee in heaven.
