JOHN NELSON KELLEY, 68 years old, was welcomed into the arms of our loving Heavenly Father on September 14th, 2018. John was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 17th, 1949. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of Northglenn United Methodist Church for over 30 years.

John was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Kelley, and his Father-In-Law Duane Wineland. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Diane, and his two sons Michael and Scott (Tracie) Kelley. His Mother Helen Kelley, and Sister Sally (John). His Grandchildren, Tyler, Nicholas (Kailani), Makenna, Jake, Tristen, Kyle, Logan, Landon, and Xander. His Great-Grandchildren, Bella, Kali, Jace, Taylor, and Silas. He is also survived by his Mother-In-Law Donna Wineland, and Diane’s Siblings, Dennis (Kathy), Donnie (Eileen), Dixie, and Dave.

John was known as “Mr. Fixit” because of many, many talents. His interests were anything dealing with cars or computers. He was always the first to lend a hand to anyone that needed it, and everyone knew that he could fix anything even if it meant building a one of a kind John Kelley Invention.

John will be remembered as a man who loved his wife and his family beyond words. He was a well-respected man and always saw the good in everyone. The legacy that he has left through his family will be remembered forever.

Services will be held at the Northglenn United Methodist Church, 1605 W 106th Ave, Northglenn, CO 80234 on Saturday, September 22nd, at Noon.

    We just met this summer, and it would be difficult to envision a warmer, more open and welcoming human being. A terrible loss for us, but a tremendous addition to heaven…our prayers are with Diane and her family.

    After we learned of John’s passing, we went into reflection mode. We remember his passion for life and what a joy he was to be around. So, as we reflect, we are left with a smile on our faces. He will be missed.
