Funeral services will be held prior to the burial. The services will be held at St. Paul’s Community Church, 8001 W. 23rd Ave. in Lakewood, CO on Wednesday, January 11. Viewing will begin at 11:00 am. Services will begin at 12:00.

Lois Jean Stokes passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side, Thursday, December 29, 2016. Jean was born in Hannibal, MO on July 7, 1927. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Graves, grandsons Shawn and Russell Graves and granddaughter Jessica Doud, seven great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter. Jean worked in many fields during her life, but she was most proud of her work as a talent agent and a museum manager. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 61 years, Everett L. Stokes. She will be buried with him at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Funeral services will be held prior to the burial. The services will be held at St. Paul’s Community Church, 8001 W. 23rd Ave. in Lakewood, CO on Wednesday, January 11. Viewing will begin at 11:00 am. Services will begin at 12:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts to Jean’s most loved charity, the St. Labre Indian School.
