Matthew Granville Sexton, who was a faithful servant of the Lord, went to spend eternity with Christ on October 10, 2009 in Denver. Born on May 13, 1957 in Great Falls, Montana to Cecil Wilson Sexton Jr. and Norma Ella Schlecht-Sexton. He became the step son of Mary Sexton in 2002.

Preceded in death by his mother Norma Sexton; brothers Mark and John Sexton; sisters Cecilia Miller and Sandra Heese; brothers-in-law Burdy Christian and John-John Sanders; Nephew Drue Christian and niece Karly Christian.

He is survived by his wife Tanya Annette Sexton, their three children Ella Haynes, Alyssa Brunette and Cecil Sexton III, son-in-laws Brian Brunette and Carl Haynes, daughter-in-law Erin Sexton, grandchildren Asthon Brunette, Ethan Sexton, Zacariah Brunette, Rosina Haynes, T.J. Haynes and Emma Sexton, brothers and sisters Mike Sexton (Becky Sexton), Pat Sexton (Karen Sexton), Debra Heer (Darrel Heer), Tim Sexton (Kathy Sexton), Katy Sexton-Long (Ron Long). Don Heese, Barb Sexton, Art Miller, Richard Morgan, Father and stepmother Cecil and Mary Sexton, father-in-law John Sanders and mothers-in-law Marty Sanders and Barbara Day, brother-in laws Tony Leal, Robin Sanders, Lane Sanders and Ben Sanders, sister-in-law Tammy Brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews, brother and sister in Christ, Skip and Carol Banks.

Matthew was loved and admired by all who know him.

    Many of my childhood memories include Matt & Tanya. I was very saddened when I heard about Matt. He was a very special and wonderful person who touched many lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tanya and the rest of the family.
