Ronald J Stimmler died at 76 years old. He said he had 73 great years and 3 bad years following his spinal surgery. Ron and Norma moved to Denver in 2001 from Arvada. Ron died on March 8, 2016 holding out for his grand-daughter’s 13th birthday. He died peacefully at Littleton Care and Rehabilitation Center. Ron was born in St. Paul Minnesota on November 30, 1939 to John and Fern Stimmler. He was the oldest of 3 siblings. Ron graduated from Golden High School and went on to the University of Colorado where he obtained an Engineering Degree. Ron worked as an Industrial Engineer for 27 years at Gates Rubber Company. Ron is survived by his wife of 37 years – Norma, 3 daughters Wendy, Robbi and Christine (Jim), brother Tom (Kathy) and sister Sandy. Ron was a proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren. He had a loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Ron loved the outdoors. In his early years he was a runner, hiker, hunter, fisherman and he loved to bike. In his later years he enjoyed golf and senior tennis. He also loved all our furry four-legged friends and sharing an occasional “holy water” with friends. Ron had many friends and was truly adored!

Ron was a good friend and neighbor. We watched many Broncos and Rockies games together. He always helped me with any mechanical problems. We shared snow removal duties for our block. I will miss him.

We have great memories of our friendly and helpful neighbor. Our family loved Ron from the time he moved into the neighborhood. If he wasn’t outside working on his yard he was over helping Ruby on her yard. He had so much energy and the years he was home after his surgery made us all sad to see what it did to him. I will miss you Ron and promise to help Norma in anyway I can. All our Love
